The starter and members in the pro shop are absolute CLOWNS. I went to play 9 holes on a random Tuesday morning, playing by myself in a single group, it’s 8AM, I bring my 4 year old daughter that likes golf. She was tagging along in the cart with me. As I’m about to tee off on 1st hole, The starter comes running out telling me I need to pay FULL price on my 4 year old. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, low moral individual, and a total loser.

Nice course good staff except for the bald ranger with the birthmark breathing down our back 5 out of the 9 holes and also accused us of having the wrong tee time then not apologizing after rudely yelling at us, and interrupting our hole. The next time I come to this course will be when this guy retires everything else was great especially the rest of the staff!

This is the first time I played this course. There are some pros but cons are too much that I will ever come back. The course is very nice and you can tell that they maintain it regularly. Everybody likes a nice course and probably why the course does get a lot of business. The cons are the workers there expect you to be an expert or pga level of golfer. They were hostile to us and 5 other groups playing that day. They wanted you to keep pace but there are groups still playing on the fairway. What you want me to hit them. They are also nasty to the ladies out there. You can’t bring in a small bag or cooler even if you want some water. This place is terrible and I am never coming back and I hope people read this and never go there until the workers change. It’s a shame too cause it is a nice course for 9 holes.

I’ve played this course a lot over the years since I live nearby, and honestly it’s always been a great beginner course. I really don’t have any issues with the condition of the course itself. What bothered me was the experience with the starter the other day. It was pretty busy, and my group was on the tee box waiting for the group ahead, they were about 250 yards out hitting their shots and still very much in range considering the level of play. We were just taking a couple practice swings and waiting for a safe window to hit. The starter kept pushing us to go, which we acknowledged, but we weren’t going to hit into people. As I was about to step up, he came over and started yelling at me saying “you don’t hit when you want to, you don’t make the rules around here, you hit when I tell you to hit” in a really condescending tone. It caught all of us off guard. I’m actually a caddie at a private club, so I understand pace of play and etiquette. There’s a difference between keeping things moving and just being flat out disrespectful. The whole thing felt unnecessary and honestly put a bad tone on the round from the start. I’ll still play here because it’s close and the course itself is solid, but that kind of experience definitely sticks with you. We’ve also had other bad experiences with a ranger too, and I’ve seen multiple reviews on here saying the same thing. Just very snappy, and quick to get angry with you. No one likes a hostile golf environment.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a golf course. As soon as we got there, we were extremely respectful, paid for everything, followed the rules, and were just excited to play our first round back since last summer because we’ve been away at school all year and busy nonstop. Instead of being welcomed, we got harassed almost immediately by the park ranger. From the first hole, he was following us around through the first 4 holes, constantly watching us for no reason. Then again around hole 7 or 8 he came back around basically spying on us and continuing to bother us. He even doubted our ability to play, saying things like “do you even know how to repair divot?” and telling us we were too bad to play on the course and that we were going to hold people up. Meanwhile, there was literally nobody behind us on the first hole and we didn’t hold anyone up the entire day. We were playing best ball in groups of 2 and keeping pace completely fine. Personally, I just found it really disrespectful. I expect basic respect from people working at a course, especially when we weren’t causing any problems at all. Instead of enjoying the round, it felt like we were being watched and judged the entire time. On top of that, some of the greens were in rough shape too. Overall just not a good experience, bad service, and definitely not a place I’d recommend.
