Wow, this course is fantastic! The carts have a GPS screen that helps you find your range. The staff were incredibly friendly. Plus, the course isn’t too crowded, so you can really focus and improve your game. The new clubhouse is currently undergoing construction and is expected to be completed around September 2026.

Not an elite good course but the greens are wonderful and faster than other courses. Lots of elevation changes to keep you on your toes.

Hidden gem. Nice layout with good elevation changes. Just a fun course to play.

At first when I came to Old Hickory it looked like a course that was flat and without much character. After 18 holes my son ( who came to play as he was competing in an RDGA qualifying round the next week) said”if I lived near here I would join in a minute!” I agreed and was so impressed with the condition of the course and the awesome greens which were fast and perfect. A very nice public golf course that is cared for with loving care.

The good part was the carts had ball washers on them.Good thing, had to use it after most every shot except putting.Gobs of mud on the ball from plugging in the fairways.Rough was so long on the front that it took forever to find your ball even if you five yards off the fairway. Tee’s were in really bad shape.See photos to judge for yourself.
