Played for the first time in about 23 years. It's a shame what this course has become and echo the recent poor reviews. Really bad shape - no fairways, really bad bunkers, geese and their waste everywhere. I had to clear about 5 turds from my line prior to putting on one of the par 3s. It has potential. Given it's on the water, having a few really "different" holes (e.g. par 5 16th) and being on the water, it could be a good links course comparable with Middle Bay if received reasonable care. Hopefully, someone takes this off the hands for TOH and does a reasonable job with it. I'd be willing to pay $60 per round as a resident if it were in good shape.

Grew up playing Lido. Last played 20 years ago. I was prepared after reading the reviews but had great memories so gave it a shot. How bad could it be??? It’s just sad what has become of what is a great layout. Greens are unplayable. Just awful. Fairways need a lot of work. If you like chipping off goose poop, this your place. I would be embarrassed to have my name on the sign out front. With all the attention around the New Lido in WI this could be a huge draw but right now I’d recommend staying away from it.

The fairways seem to have noticeably improved, nice work on that. But for the love of golf please fix the greens. Most of them are in grade F shape. In addition to repairing the greens, hire a cart girl. Stack the cart with surfsides and white claws. Offer water and soft drinks too. If you do this, this place will BOOM like never before. Also, please offer resident rates to Long Beachers if you don't mind. The first two suggestions are more important, but cmon help me out over here.

Do not spend a dollar here. The course has never been worse. No grass. No maintenance. The greens are worse than the fairways. Balls roll over land mines. Putts can get almost two feet of air in any direction. The town has given up on the course. Wait till there is new ownership and it still will take a year to get this place playable again.

Played yesterday. This course has gone downhill the last couple of years. The greens were very bumpy. I’ve played temporary greens that were better. On one hole they didn’t even fill in the hole from the day before. This course used to be a bargain and now don’t waste your money.
