Beautiful course, impeccably managed greens without a single damaged area on any of the greens. Great rates, very friendly staff. No pressure environment and no rude people playing up on you in a rush. We're far from pros but felt the wide open fairways were very accommodating for us as true amateurs. Taking a break to enjoy some wildlife in the woods was beautiful. Only complaint is the layout was a little confusing for me to navigate since it was our first time on the course, but the map on the scorecard was more than ample once my wife told me to stop being a man and follow the directions. Thanks again for a great round.

I played here in 2024 when renovations were very much underway. I was in Bethel for Phish, and on the drive from Boston I listened to a podcast featuring Tom talking about renovating a course in the Catskills. I figured I’d check it out and I’m glad I did. Despite the rain that weekend, and even with the excavation equipment and exposed earth at every turn, i could see the reason TC felt so compelled to put in the effort for a full restoration. This place is packed with charm - seriously, how many courses have you played that have a periscope? And that extends to the pro shop. Unfortunately i forgot his name but the gentleman in the pro shop could not have been more welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, etc. I’ll definitely be back to check out the transformation, including the putting course. Top tier logo, too.

Great course with a few quirks. We played SCGC in a scramble event, which was a great way to experience the course for the first time. It’s a 9-hole layout, but I’d recommend looping it twice to really get a feel for the routing and strategy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend playing it and experiencing the course for yourself. The clubhouse is a major highlight, with a great bar overlooking the putting green, a nice restaurant, and a well-stocked pro shop. A few of the holes have really interesting layouts and memorable features, including the long grassy mounding cutting across the first tee and ninth green. The par 3s also grew on me as the round went on. A few greens were still recovering from winter conditions, and some of the fairways have heavy side slopes. That seems to be part of the design, but it can leave you with a tough approach lie even after a good drive. I’ll definitely be back later in the season once the grass has filled in a bit more.

Really cool course. Went out for a twilight round and had a great time. This course genuinely feels like you are playing golf in nature. The wildlife was enjoying the course and its surroundings just as much as we were, which was so refreshing in a world where golf courses destroy biodiversity and over consume water. On top of that, the layout is just fun and approachable. Would highly recommend a round here.

$55 to ride 9 holes on a Saturday after 1pm. 5' high wall in front of first tee and 9th green kinda different. Couple greens were in bad shape. People were nice but I wouldn't pay that much to play there again.
