We stayed at the Cambria Hotel Lakeside Resort for a wedding and had a great experience. We booked a king room, which was clean, comfortable, and modern. We were impressed by the super spacious sliding glass-door shower and the bluetooth-enabled light-up mirror in the bathroom. These modern touches made the room feel upscale and added to the overall experience. The front desk employees were very welcoming. A nice touch was that when we checked in, the front desk handed us a sealed letter from the bride and groom with details about the wedding shuttle service from the hotel. It made the arrival process very smooth and showed excellent coordination between the hotel and the wedding party. We also received a booking discount through the wedding block, which was appreciated. The only thing that would have made the stay even better is if breakfast had been included. Breakfast is available à la carte rather than complimentary. That said, overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel, especially for wedding guests.

Hotel looks great and modern from the outside. The reality is this place is made of paper walls. I could literally hear the person in the next room iPhone buzzing with text messages all night. Any sound anyone made can be heard all throughout the night. On top of that it seems as if there are children running wild with no parental supervision at all hours of the night. If you want a good nights rest go somewhere else.

I was greeted by Caitlyn with a great first impression of the hotel, she was very polite and well mannered. I had a few questions about the area and she was attentive when listening, while also giving me great information about lake placid. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with fancy technology for the lights and electrical boxes to save energy. When checking out, I got to see Caitlyn again. Was very impressed with her, especially since she seems young. Will definitely be back, love the hotel and all the amenities. Plan on coming back when it’s later in the summer so I can hang out by the lake!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Cambria Hotel for our anniversary! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. I believe they even upgraded our room, which was such a thoughtful surprise. They also had delicious cookies waiting for us to celebrate our anniversary, and it was little touches like that that made our stay so memorable. The staff checked in with us every day to make sure we had everything we needed, and everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful—clean, modern, and so well maintained. The views are gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring Lake Placid. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to the entire staff for making our weekend so special. We will definitely be back!

Had an excellent stay at the Cambria. The front desk team was welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The heated pool was great and a highlight for the kids. The restaurant experience stood out—the food team was attentive and accommodating, especially the evening server, and handled allergies and special requests with care and professionalism.
