I had a very disappointing experience here this past weekend. Our group of six had paid for four golfers because two of us were only there to watch. We were already at the first hole when an employee came over and immediately started yelling at us because we had six people but had only paid for four. We explained that two of us weren’t golfing, and she told us we can’t do that. When she asked why we thought spectators were allowed, my friend explained that he had called beforehand and was told it was okay. We then realized he had accidentally called a different golf course. It was an honest mistake, and as soon as we understood the policy, we immediately paid the additional $20 without arguing. Even after the issue was resolved, the employee continued to treat us disrespectfully. She walked over to other groups on the course and loudly spoke about our group, making an already embarrassing situation even more uncomfortable. When we came back from paying, she continued making unnecessary comments. She told me and my friend to make sure “our boyfriends don’t hold up the course” and warned us not to stop and take pictures, even though we had never mentioned taking pictures and had no intention of doing so. As a group of young adults, it felt like assumptions were being made about us before we had done anything wrong. It also appeared that another employee was following our group around the course, literally in the trees, which made us feel singled out for the rest of our visit. We understand that the spectator policy was our misunderstanding, and we corrected it immediately by paying the additional fee. What was disappointing was not the policy itself, but how we were treated afterward. There was no reason to yell at us, publicly discuss our group with other customers, or continue making comments after the issue had already been resolved. Respectful customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately this experience ensured that we won’t be returning and I would recommend to anyone to go to any other golf course on long island before trying this one.

Play is both easy and challenging for most players. None of us are professionals that play here. So it is enjoyable

First time playing in a long time 3 years ago was the last time playing. I love it fields are well maintained. Speed of play was good. Greens were pretty slow but no complaints. Over all its a great place to play and practice

Poor conditions and multiple rude staff members. Not worth the price with much better local courses nearby.

Hidden gem of a state course. Three 9 hole courses (Red, Blue, and Green) with driving range with water views and putting green area. Greens run a bit fast with challenging pin placements. Just Love playing here.
