Hempstead Golf & Country Club is a classic Long Island club with a rich tradition and tight, tree-lined layout. The course challenges with narrow landing areas and small, fast greens. It's a serious test of skill, beloved by low-handicappers. The club has a close-knit, old-school culture. Hempstead is for golfers who appreciate precision and pedigree.

Great food and service. Chef came out multiple times to talk to the tables. Nice view of the golf course while you eat. Menu is fresh with just enough choices to keep everyone satisfied. Steak is my favorite. They do a grass fed filet with olive oil and course salt. Sooo good.

This was our initial visit to the Hempstead Golf and Country Club. We had the opportunity to play with members, and the course was both beautiful and moderately challenging. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food was quite good, even at the 9th hole.

The server Mike was unbelievable. He is a really good hard working young man. I’ve never had better service. His passion to the food industry is one of a kind. He loves food so he’s good at this job.
