Love this place! Best golf course for us locals. Not usually that crowded. Great owners. Spectacular greens. In fact, nobody's greens are comparable. Hidden gem of a golf course ⛳

This course really is a "hidden gem". Course has a lot of nice views, a very good layout and the greens are in very good condition. We played from the white tees and it only took 3 hours and forty minutes to play. The blue tees looked like they would challenge any player. This isn't a course set up by an amateur designer as are many other courses in the area. At some point, the owner might want to improve the drainage in a few spots and enlarge some of the tees but he's already done a lot of improvements. Had a nice lunch afterwards at a reasonable price;

I would like to give this place 5 stars, because the price to play is low $15 to walk, the greens and fringes are perfect and the layout is one of my favorites in the area. The holes are all different with many interesting views. Also the owner who works the pro shop and works from dawn to dusk on this place is a nice guy. I can't give it 5 stars, but I will say that if I lived closer, I would be a member and play at Pole Valley regularly. Pay your money, get out on the course and enjoy this hidden gem. There are a lot of courses in the area with nicer club houses and bars but you really should give this place a try, for the golf experience. It's a "Field of Dreams" Yes they have carts, but the course is very walkable. Yes they sell beer. Why do you think I gave them 3 stars. Just kidding. Last summer 6/2021, this place was taken over by new owners, so this is an old review that needs to be updated. I will play this course in June 2022 and rewrite my review.

If you haven't played Hartford Greens, now is the perfect time. Not only do you get a great round of golf but you get to enjoy the beautiful fall colors while you play. The course is in great shape. Fairways are links style, a little on the rough side and a challenge to all. The layout is fun and the greens are some of the largest and most well maintained in the area. By far, my favorite course in the area.
