Fairways are tight and in great shape. The greens are well taken care of. Had a great round during the week and play was quick. The back nine has some interesting lies as your on a mountain side. Overall a great experience. Cart girl was always around.

Beautiful scenic course. Well maintained conditions. Will return to play again. They could work on scheduling groups so that the pace of play is smoother. We had a very slow back 9.

The quality of this course is not worth the egregious price tag. The first 8 holes were absolutely awful, with ruts in the fairway almost a foot deep in places, patchy grass, and rough so long that it's almost impossible to find your ball unless you're standing on top of it. The ground was so mushy and uneven it made getting clean shots even more difficult. One of the par 5s had to be played as a par 3, missing out on one of the few long shots the course even offered. Our pair was scolded for starting behind our t - time by 2 minutes because of a miscommunication on part of their staff, and we were thus holding up the larger party behind us. Paying close to $100 for one round of 18 with a cart and a rider is just simply obnoxious for a course that has such shotty maintenance. Staff was very impersonal and seemed like they were more concerned with pushing people through the door and rushing through each hole than truly caring about patrons having a pleasant experience. Will never recommend this course nor return to waste so much money for a swampfest.

The people are friendly and courteous...the head grounds keeper took time to to give my wife and I a brief lesson.... the course is awesome....and the beer was cold

Holes play pretty quick, conditions are good for it being so rainy outside. Downside is the price. Not even close to worth the experience and the damaged cart paths. Every turn was a huge pot hole or a bump to where the clubs were being tossed around even being tied in tightly. My husband and I played 18 holes with one cart, and we EACH had to pay a cart fee which was almost 20 dollars (per person) even though we only used one cart. Every other course we play around the Ellicottville area will only charge a couple/ group, 1 cart fee per two people. Our kids are apart of the golf team at Ellicottville School Golf Team, which allows them to golf for free during certain times. Both kiddos shared a cart, (one driving, other sitting) and yet they both paid a $16 cart fee. The price of one cart was $32. The workers inside were a different story, very passive aggressive and blunt, I would save your money and find a better course in the area, this course and shop is overpriced to the max and lacks common golf cart knowledge for the area.
