I have been to multiple courses since I moved here a year ago and I would have to say this is my favorite by far! Very nice course and club house, has country club feel to it from the second you pull on to the main road! Decently priced plus if you get the capital region card it’s only 40$ to play 18 with cart! I’ve been to more expensive courses in the area and this one I still feel has nicer greens and landscape and all around view! They also cater to guests which is nice we showed up really early and they had breakfast cooking outside and drinks ready to go, very accommodating!

Great golf course. It's huge, it has 27 holes. Went there as part of a company golf league. Played 1 to 18 hole. The price is reasonable. Golf carts are extra and need to paid per person instead of per golf cart. We had our own push carts. Lot of hills as you go through, so push cart can be really tiring if you are playing more than 9 holes. Recommend getting the golf carts in that case. The course was well kept. Fairways were well groomed. There are some challenging holes. Some of the greens are challenging as well. Went there on a Wednesday. Not a lot of people which meant we could play at our own pace without holding up groups behind. The vista restaurant has good outdoor seating and serves good beer. Would visit again.

Really impressed and enjoyed each time we visited Vista at Van Patten. 1st visit was for a retirement party and the food was outstanding. Went back for lunch and was again excellent....went back again for dinner and discovered they have music trivia on Tuesdays and trivia on Wednesdays... yayyy! Tried Tuesdays and brought a friend too. We had a great time and looking forward to bringing other friends to enjoy too. Food excellent, servers and bartender beyond excellent....so very friendly and welcoming. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for locals and anyone from out of town who are looking for a perfectly beautiful clean facility to play a round of golf and hopefully enjoy a wonderful menu with a truly pleasant staff. Will definitely recommend and visit often! 😊😁😎❤️

My husband and I attended a dinner function at the Van Patten Country Club. The banquet room was large and open with beautiful views of the golf course. There was a bar, it took a while to wait to get a drink because there was only one bartender and it was the main bar which was very crowded because of other people and golfers having drinks. There were hot and cold hors d'oeuvres available. The servers came around with hot items such as coconut chicken, spring rolls, and wonderful breaded mushrooms. We were then served with a salad. For dinner, my husband and I had the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The presentation and quality of the meal was very good. We had carrot cake for dessert. The serving size was large and there was plenty of cream cheese frosting. The servers were all friendly and attentive to our needs. In all, we had a very nice time and would definitely come back again.

Very nice golf course, clean and free of debris. As usual I find there aren`t enough porta potties to go to the bathroom mid-game. Karts are good and the staff was super friendly so a big thank you.
