When to golf there yesterday. Conditions were very, very muddy. Fairways are not cut All you could see where dandelions and barely find your ball in the fairway. And people ran all Over the course playing whatever hole they liked.

The course is great, the people are great, and the prices are better than most, if not all. The food is always good too!

Look, I know where I am. I’m not rolling up to a 9-hole track expecting a premium, white-glove country club experience. The conditions are what they are. But while you can’t control the weather, you can control your attitude—The common theme we see here is that the owner is an absolute tool. You guys are not Augusta National. You should be counting your lucky stars people show up at all. Yet, when I walked up and set down a set of clubs worth north of $5,000, the ancient relic in the pro shop watched me walk up and had the audacity to lecture me about "not fooling around on the golf carts." Really, grandpa? I'm carrying tour-level gear, and you're treating me like a teenager buying tickets for the go karts at the state fair. This power-tripping, old-fashioned behavior needs to be weeded out pronto. It’s the classic story: grumpy old people acting macho toward younger players who could easily outplay them up and down the course. And don't get me started on the ball retrieval policy. If I hit my $5 ball into the edge of the water, you best believe I'm grabbing it. This place is notorious for banning ball retrieval just so they can scoop them up and resell them. Respect the hustle, but do we see this at any other courses in the North Country? No we do not. The sad part is this course has great potential and a fun layout. If the owner stays in the back, fixes his attitude, and drops the retirement-home vibe, this could be a great spot for everyone. Until then, learn some manners and stay humble.

During our visit the course was incredibly wet and muddy. Course grass was extremely long and couldn’t fairways just a sea of dandelions. I have also never had to contend with waiting for the grass being mowed on a weekend. Groups were moving all over the course out of order. Not an enjoyable experience.
