I played the West Course last Friday 6/26 around 5pm. The pro shop worker said no carts in the West Course, which was fine, but he didn’t explain why. Several holes were flooded and had puddles in the fairways. My tee shot on hole 6 was in middle of the fairway and splashed in pool of water. The course was in terrible condition and it only rained one day during the week, on Thursday morning. Golfers should not have been allowed out on the course. Balls were plugged and unfindable in the middle of the fairways. My feet and socks were soaked by the end of the round. Just absolutely brutal and unplayable conditions, and no mention of any of the issues by the employees.

What a hidden gem!!! And the SECOND municipal golf course in Monroe County that is well cared for and fun to play! (Durand Eastman also rocks) Gorgeous Fairways and greens.... flat enough to walk all 18 without any trouble. Great staff. Will be returning pronto!!

Played the west course the other day. After hole 3 the just stopped mowing the fairway. Also, no carts are allowed so have fun walking through the random ponds that they made from getting the mowers stuck. Hole 7s fairway isn't mowed its taller than the rough. They said the course is playable but you’ll lose your ball in the middle of the fairway. The greens are more like browns somehow will all this water and they still charge full price!

Really annoying experience at the course. We booked 2 foursomes and once we arrived to the course we all paid for our cart fees. There was 7 of us total and one guy paid for 3 cart fees. Once we got to the first tee, one of the employees told us that 2 people didn’t pay because there were only 5 transactions. Which makes sense because the one guy paid for 3 and then the 4 other guys paid individually. I guess they were having a very hard time understanding that. But he ended up coming back 2 more times trying to get someone to pay even though we already had. We were very frustrated after being followed all the way down the first hole. Not to mention the ranger spoke to us like we were children and might have been the most miserable guy there. Overall it was a very frustrating experience because we were bothered as much as were and we played a 3+ hour back 9 (so much for that ranger). Very unpleasant experience and that hasn’t been my first unpleasant one here at this course.

Me and my buddy walked in and they got the clubs they were ok, then we get to the karts everything was good. We start getting into it and then we get kicked out for not driving on the kart path. There were no signs and the staff absolutely disrespected us. apparently they don’t give warnings here. would not recommend Staff is disrespectful and didn’t even get to play for what i payed for.
