I played the Spy Ring Golf Course for the first time this morning and I have to say that this is the most impressive 9 hole course I have ever played anywhere. Additionally, it gives you the feel of a challenging 18 hole golf course. The fairways & greens are immaculately well groomed. The greens are fast & challenging. Although more expensive than most 9 hole courses, it was a fun and special experience! Definitely worth it! Charles B. - Commack

Just finished 2 rounds and despite 3 days of rain prior and greens haven been aerated about 2 weeks ago the course was in very good shape. A fun yet challenging course with some pretty wild greens. Although the weather was damp, cold and kind of windy, we still had a good time. Great, friendly staff makes you feel right at home. Even though I may have to wait until next season, I'm looking forward to playing this course again in more clement weather. Highly recommend!!!

phenomenal course! fantastic and fun design! challenging enough for a scratch and fun enough for a +20 handicap. pro shop staff is super nice and helpful. played twice already in 2026 and the course is perfect !

Course is in great condition. Fun set of half par holes that are perfect for match play with friends - Jimmi and Jack know the current golf climate and are committed to a great model. Course will not be flooded with play and management should be commended. Starter John is a great asset . Potential to be a Donald Ross style Sweetens Cove

Spy Ring Golf Course is an awesome addition to Long Island golf. The course is in great shape and every hole has something fun or challenging about it. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design — it’s short enough to walk but still keeps you on your toes. The staff are super friendly, and the place has a really clean, modern feel without losing that relaxed local vibe. It’s a great spot to play a quick 9 or loop around twice for 18. Definitely one of the best golf experiences around South Setauket. Worth every penny — I’ll be coming back often.
