Arrowhead should be ashamed. This used to be a great course. Almost $70 for a tee time, not a single nice tee box, all dirt. The fairways are patchy and embarrassing. They care way more about their weddings than they do about the course. Absolutely will not be coming back here.

Today was a disgraceful experience at Arrowhead. We played 17 holes in 5 hours. Couldn’t play full 18 because there was a wedding and they shut the 9th hole down. The ranger was out there telling us we had to skip the hole. Meanwhile - no rangers were to be found on the rest of the course as the pace became untenable and grinded to a halt at times. By the way - because they are unbelievably cheap and need to fund their wedding venue, they try to cram as many tee times in as possible (a ridiculous 8 min apart) which resulted in us teeing off 30 min late. So to recap, we played 17 holes in 5 hours and teed off 30 minutes late. Doesn’t sound so good huh? No food at all in the halfway house / pro shop / clubhouse or whatever they call that shack too. Play elsewhere.

Arrowhead received bad press for years however if you like golf, go try it now. The greens are fast and in good shape. Fairways are lush and weend free and bunkers are raked with good sand. First time there this year and it is in very good shape.

Played this course recently and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. At $57, the value just isn’t there. Tee boxes and fairways were mostly dirt, and the greens were in very poor shape. There are multiple other courses in the area at a similar price point that are in far superior condition, making this one hard to recommend.

Played here early April. This is one of the few courses that will stay open when the ground is too wet to let people on or if the weather is too cold. Course has a decent layout, has a similar vibe to Links at Ivy Ridge and Harvest Hill (kind of in between the two). Very open, small hills, links style. Par 3s have a nice layout. Like everyone says, the course conditions are poor. Fairways aren’t taken care of and looks like it has been neglected for months, tee boxes are bare. The conditions aren’t bad enough to ruin your round but this course has to charge at least $10 - $20 (depending on the season) less than Ivy and Harvest, not the same price for the condition it is in. Greens are the only thing in respectable shape. There is no excuse for it being early in the season, I played Glen Oak a few days ago and it was in much better shape for April. This course is like Links at Ivy Ridge vibe and layout with the conditions of the local muni Audubon. They seem pretty invested in hosting weddings here as well, more-so than golf it seems. Clubhouse is very nice, they have a driving range and short game area on site.
