Skiing review only, did not stay overnight 3/20 ski day Back to where it all began, some 30+ years ago when I was a kid learning to ski. I wish they had had a better snow year because this place would have been amazing. Had everything been opened. I think it was 42% open for trails. But you got to find the silver lining and what we had available, was very fun. We did have a blast on what was available. Love to see that it is still family owned, I believe. And they're working on new lifts. Free shuttle from the parking, but honestly, it's a short walk if the lines get too long... Which we did at the end of the day. Great price for lift tickets and lockers. Tools to adjust gear on table near top of chile express. Maybe the best maintained I have seen out of Taos, Santa Fe, an Angelfire. Easy drive from El Prado. Cannot wait to come back during a proper snow year. The zoidberg will return... I think someone working at the entrance got a picture of me the first five minutes.

We love it so much- but it is a special place for us. We love the staff that we see year after year. We are here a few times a year and it’s always the most welcomed reprieve. Not the best snow this year so far but certainly good service and blue skies.

After closing tubing due to an accident, the staff offered a refund to those of us impacted. Staff went on a power-trip, telling us we only had 28min to run home and get the credit card we used to purchase our tickets before we could be refunded. When I had asked for a more reasonable resolution, such as coming back the next day, their reply was (I quote) "do you want a refund or not?". Nasty people. I'll never visit these slopes again, I would recommend going literally anywhere else.

Went to the resort to mountain bike ride down the mountain with a friend. Nice facilities helpful rental area with all the equipment needed. Very challenging course down the mountain. Don’t try if you’re a novice and not in shape. Technically challenging. Beautiful location.

It’s not our first time at this resort, but this visit was disappointing. With only four very small slopes and one long green run open, charging $130 for a lift ticket feels unreasonable. It gets boring very quickly and doesn’t offer enough variety to justify the price. Food and rentals are also extremely overpriced for the quality. We came hoping to spend a few enjoyable days here, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. Next time, we’ll definitely drive a few extra hours and go to Colorado resorts instead — much better value and experience overall.
