Toms River is a historic Jersey Shore-area club with a classic, traditional golf personality and a course that rewards steady execution. The layout tends to emphasize placement and angles rather than brute force, making it a good test for golfers who value course management. You’ll find holes where the correct club off the tee is less than driver, simply to keep you in position for a clean approach. Greens and surrounds often reward touch, so short game can be a major separator when you’re not striking it perfectly. The overall vibe feels established and community-forward, with a club atmosphere that fits its long-standing history in the region. If you enjoy classic Shore-area private golf with a measured, strategic test, Toms River fits well.

Fun day at the country club pool! We don't have country club money but were invited for family day! Lucky us! Pools were spacious and lifeguards appeared attentive. We were surprised food was reasonable too and yummy!

Great local County Club under new management. I couldn't believe all of the improvements from last year. I live up north and played with a friend. I kinda wish this club was located in Somerset County. Friendly staff and a tasty bite...
