The course itself is challenging and long, but the lack of amenities and maintenance is a real letdown. The course should add some amenities. A clubhouse, pro shop, driving range, and food service would make the course more enjoyable for all golfers. The vending machine should be replaced or repaired. It is currently broken, and it is the only source of drinks on the course.

This bigger Asian man Marshall tried to suspend me for playing at 6:00 pm even though I paid and the starter confirmed Im good to go?? He drove up to me at 4 green and opened with “You need to get off the course or I’m going to suspend you” I showed him my receipt and he goes you can’t be here like ????? And no apology either at the end. He just drives off after looking at my receipt. He also lies to me saying that he’s seen me abuse the course before and this is legit my first time ever coming here. Please get rid of this guy. Just ruined my day while I was just doing what was okay to do. I want a refund I’m leaving right away

Overpeck is a fun and enjoyable course. It’s a par-72 layout and one of six courses in the Bergen County system. The terrain is mostly flat, with water coming into play on several holes. A brand‑new clubhouse is scheduled to open in 2026.

The staff here is kind of rude and weird. Raising voice at me and using rude hand gesture for a simple inquiry that could have been answered much more nicely, I don’t know what I did to deserve that, I just wanted to just ask questions and play here, but they don’t seem to care. From the reviews this place had gotten it seems the management doesn’t care about this place either. Some staff were nice, but they same cannot be said about everyone

It's a fun course! It's currently under some construction, but the course is well kept. I only lost 1 ball today 😄 For the most part, you can't go wrong with Bergen municipals, except Rock Lee Blue 😉
