Mt. Freedom is a straightforward, community-oriented public course that offers enjoyable golf without a big production. The layout tends to reward keeping the ball in play and leaning on wedges and short irons, since the course isn’t built around extreme length. It’s a great place for repeat rounds because the strategy is clear and improvement shows quickly—fewer penalties, better approach distance control, and fewer three-putts. The environment is friendly and accessible, making it comfortable for beginners while still letting better players chase scoring goals. Several holes encourage conservative targets rather than risky hero shots, which keeps big numbers off the card for disciplined players. If you want a dependable local round that’s easy to fit into the week, Mt. Freedom fits nicely.

Place was very run down. We had more fun making fun of it than playing. Sorry. Hate giving negative reviews. But this one earned it. Spend a few bucks and be proud of it

Great little budget friendly driving range and mine hole par 3. Has food right next door and a great little shop. Super friendly staff!!

Great local range (where you can hit off real grass), but the hidden gem is the pitch-and-putt course. Perfect spot to learn golf, work on your wedge game, or just play a relaxed quick round. Old-school local golf vibe and a really fun place to practice.

Haven't been here in years. The mini golf or par 3 have really not been maintained. They have specific political gatherings here often, which have caused drama with others. There is a great pizzaria on the property, called Antimo's. I do stop in there a lot!
