Course was in good shape. Greens are fast. However. Service was substandard. Cart girl was nowhere to be found. There are no water stations in the course. The water fountain in the clubhouse is broken. The grill couldn't make a cheeseburger without a long wait so no point in staying after. Ranger was harassing us unnecessarily for pace of play (the people behind us were old folks walking so we only held them up on the par 3s).

Overall, it was good. The viewd S were nice, and the course was moderate in difficulty, not too wide or narrow. I like this place . One thing, the cart was a bit pricy .

I'm from Monmouth County but I've strayed up here a few times. $85 on a weekend walking is a fair price for an outsider to play this gem of a county course. Its walkable for sure if you're in relatively good shape and it's not 85+ degrees. The starter didn't tell us the pin position which was weird. Overall pace of play early on a Saturday was very good. Just about 4 hours and 15 minutes and we hardly waited to hit. Views are amazing. The course itself is in great shape and can be very challenging, but not unfair. Greens were well kept and most players seemed to fix their divots and balls marks. I'd definitely be a regular here if I lived in Morris County.

This course was downright beautiful, the course was dancing with wild life. However the reason for the two star is that we arrived and we were immediately welcomed with rude and disrespectful hospitality from the golf cart attendant she was giving us attitude when me and my family just wanted to play some golf on a gorgeous Sunday. It was my family of 5 and my mom didn’t have a bag because she wasn’t going to golf she just wanted to hangout. Well no way in the lady’s world was that acceptable. We even paid for the fifth person and she was still giving us a hard time. I get that we only had 4 bags for 5 people but give us a break that is more than enough clubs. I really don’t understand what some people get out of running others days. Never will I come back to this beautiful course just because of this lady.
