Pomona is a South Jersey public course known for its classic, wooded feel and a layout that tests accuracy more than raw distance. The routing moves through mature tree lines and natural corridors, so keeping the ball in play is the primary scoring key. It rewards patient, disciplined golf—choose conservative targets, take your pars, and capitalize on the holes that truly give you a chance. Greens and surrounds often demand touch, and short-siding can lead to difficult up-and-downs. The course has strong replay value because learning the safe sides and preferred angles makes a big difference over time. If you like traditional public golf that feels like a real test of course management, Pomona is a strong pick.

This course is great if you're looking to get into the game of golf or your been playing for awhile and don't want to spend spending a ton of money. The staff is very friendly and the food at the 10th hole is delicious!!!

My husband and I had a great time tonight golfing! And then it just got better when we went into the restaurant and had some refreshing drinks and some delicious food and met the awesome staff. Bartender, Gabby superintendent Dylan, and ranger Kamal!!!

I played Pomona Golf Course last week. I had a mid-morning tee time. The pace of play was pretty good. There was group of newer golfers ahead of us, but there was not a lot of waiting for them. Pomona is a great course for newer golfers. The cost for the 9 holes is pretty good. The Pro Shop is small but the staff is nice and helpful. There is a driving range. It is basic but it suits it's purpose. The course has a restaurant with a bar, but there is no cart service on the course. Bring plenty of water on warmer days.

Greens: firm and plenty fast. Some rough spots , but it’s amazing for the price. Fairways: easy to hit off of and grown in nice and thick Tee boxes: just fine Layout: some cool doglegs , some straight holes. Teeny tiny greens for practice. In short this is a phenomenal facility. I brought my two young kids and we played 9 holes in 60 minutes, had a blast , and was welcomed with top notch service. If you have junior golfers or are new to the game you won’t find a better facility.

This is a nice 9 hole course, fun to play and in decent shape. The greens are streight forwards which makes for great scoring opportunities. The\nCarts were in good repair is a driving range on-site.The putting green needs a lot of work and the clubhouse needs to be modeled or updated renovating , or something. A gigantic bar takes up most of the front of the clubhouse. There is no refreshment stand either. For the money I can say it's worth it.
