Ridgewood is a marquee North Jersey private club with major-championship heritage and a course built to test elite tee-to-green execution. The routing has a “big stage” feel—holes build pressure, good scores require precision, and mistakes are punished in ways that feel tournament-ready. Positioning off the tee matters because the course is designed around angles into greens, not just fairway width. Greens tend to reward confident putting and punish being on the wrong tier or leaving yourself above the hole. The atmosphere is refined and competitive, with the kind of tradition that comes from hosting high-level events and serious club golf. If you’re talking top-shelf private golf in New Jersey, Ridgewood belongs on that short list.

A spectacular 27 hole course topped up with a beautiful club house. Bring your best golf game here, you are going to need it to just make par... challenging and exciting!

We were at The Ridgewood Country Club yesterday, and it’s the kind of venue that makes a wedding day feel effortless. The staff was dialed‑in, warm, and genuinely attentive — the sort of team that keeps everything moving without ever being seen doing it. The grounds were pristine, the light was beautiful all day, and every space — indoors and out — felt intentionally designed for a smooth, elegant celebration. The ballroom had that perfect mix of warmth and polish that couples love. If you’re looking for a venue that runs seamlessly and looks incredible from every angle, Ridgewood CC is an easy yes.
