Course conditions have improved a lot. The greens are in good shape. Fairways are pretty good except some still have a few very dry spots with thin grass. Rough is sparse in some areas. Sand traps mostly are a thin layer of dirt with compressed soil underneath. They now have the screen with tech in the cart. Only problem it thinks some cart paths are restricted areas.

I love golfing here. When i'm not here, I wish I was. They've been improving it every year since I moved. The places you look that are tore up are because of use/misuse. Fix your divots, pick up your broken tees, and keep the carts on the cart path at every opportunity. You really can't expect the grounds crew to keep up with ALL this damage.

The staff is great and the price is fair. The course is in ok shape, although they really should put some actual sand in the sand traps. Odd because there's no shortage of sand in that part of New Jersey. All tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in good shape. Greens were really slow today. You have to place your shots well or you can end up in some bad spots. I liked it though. Pace of play was good.

Good track. Tee boxes were a bit rough, but very playable. Fairways were better than average. Greens were perfect. Great cuts. Straight and long, but good trap placements.

Im sure no one looks at reviews of a public golf course but I need to do this for my own sanity. My buddy and I went to golf here at Noon on a Sunday. We arrived 30 mins before our tee time. The "ranger?" I guess ... who was a kid asked if we wanted to join the group in front of us since we were both groups of 2. We agreed (but trust me there was no choice). We eventually teed off about 10 mins after our original time. Meaning the guys we played with went off 20 mins after... no big deal. It happens. A minir annoyance butThats no problem. We did notice a large bottle neck of carts waiting after us. At least 4 groups were in carts waiting for us to tee off... clearly they were all on time fir their tee time. So those people had a long wait time after their tee tinme. The front 9 we had nothing but stop and gotime. Waiting after every shot. We had to skip holes just to try and find a gap some where. There was No Marshall. No one was keeping pace of play. Took over 2 hours and 20 mins for the front 9 after we skipped a hole completely. The worst was... after the nightmare that was the front 9. I asked for a double transfusion. This drink should be extremely strong. The bartender poured a double for sure. When I took a sip it tasted like nothing. I asked my buddy to try it to make sure I wasn't being crazy. He barely drinks and said he couldn't taste any alcohol. This was not the bartenders fault. They did a great pour... THE BOTTLE WAS WATERED DOWN!!! Whoever is in charge of watching this needs to be alerted. The pour was fine. The vodka wasn't there. Ultimately the course was ok. I would have never posted about it if the drink wasn't a scam and someone maintained the rate of play. This place had a cheap price point but id rather pay 20 more to get a smooth round and drinks. Avoid at all costs.
