Sat in the back room with a group after a funeral. Room was very plain and bland. Nothing to speak of. The menu was a typical bar menu. Two of us had burgers & fries which was good. Another had a chicken quesadilla, but she wasn't crazy about it. And, the other had a chicken sandwich with fries. Appetizer was chicken wings, which the guys enjoyed. The Roost Bar and Grill is probably very nice in spring and summer since it's directly on the Cream Ridge golf course.

I played this course on 9/22, a very rainy day. The course still held up well under these conditions. The course was empty so I got to play at my own pace. As a single golfer I played in 3 hours flat. They take care of this place. Also, great staff in the bar & grille. Food was delicious. Make sure to order the steak bites. Incredibly tender. Also the French onion soup is delicious.

The day I went, there was an accident and tea times kind of got messed up. But the staff there was very friendly, very helpful. The course was a little long, greens were a little Bumpy, but I did hear from others that played there that it goes back and forth between being tight and being long. It was a nice course overall for the money.

Not a good course. Many of the cart paths are dirt roads, so be prepared to inhale dust from the cart in front of you. There were no carts left for a 10:30am tee time. No water jugs on any tee boxes to refill water bottles. No snack bar to grab a bite on the turn. Just a bar with employees who had no idea what to do. There are much nicer courses with better amenities for an enjoyable day.

Raw sewage openly flowing across the 18th hole in front of the green. June 20, 2026. About 100 yards from the restaurant where people are dining. Management aware. No signage. No notification before teeing off. Drive through it as it’s unavoidable, thinking it was mud. Major health violation and intensive high risk to patrons. Absolutely disgusting.
