Raritan Valley is a long-standing Central Jersey private club with a traditional course that rewards disciplined, tee-to-green golf. The layout tends to emphasize positioning off the tee, because angles into greens matter and hazards punish predictable misses. It’s the kind of course where good scores come from patience and smart targets rather than constant pin-hunting. Greens and surrounds often demand touch, so short game and putting speed control can save you when you’re not striking it perfectly. The atmosphere is classic and member-forward, designed for repeat play, club competitions, and guest rounds that feel like a proper country club day. If you like refined private golf with a steady strategic test, Raritan Valley fits nicely.

I was a guest on Friday 10/18/24 and we dined on the heated patio for dinner. Serene views of the fall colors and sunset & moon rise was picturesque. The food and service were good. Pumpkin gellatto was the best! It was nicely decorated for Halloween festivities. It was a fun visit with friends!

We are at a buffet luncheon here. The banquet room had a lovely view of the course. The bathroom was nicely maintained but the air freshenerim it was foul smelling--like no name gas station air fresheners. The chicken was excellent The pasta was good. The flounder tasted old and fishy. The service was excellent.

Always a great place to spend some leisure time. Course has been in phenomenal shape, food is amazing, staff is first class, and the pool is a blast for the kids (and adults). Mosti importantly, the people (membership) are always fun, welcoming, and cordial! Great family atmosphere, and couldn't be happier to be apart of it!
