I had a great experience using the Pitch & Putt late this afternoon. The short pitch and putt was great practice to fine tune the feel of my golf swing. All of the tees are mats, but the grass is in great shape so if you miss the green you'll get a true feel for your short game. Looking forward to playing the full length course as it seemed to be very well maintained.

Well manicured county course, we had a great day. Staff was very friendly, courteous golfers. Carts are new and clean! Thank you, looking forward to playing again soon!

Green Knoll is one of my favorites in the excellent Somerset county system. Excellent value, challenging but fair. The finishing hole is one of my favorites in the area.

2 stars. I didn’t enjoy my round at Green Knoll Golf Course. The pace of play was extremely slow to the point where we had to skip a hole just to get away from the group in front of us. After skipping, there was literally a 2-hole gap ahead, so we clearly weren’t holding anyone up. What made the experience worse was the ranger coming up to us multiple times telling us to hurry up and play faster, even after we explained the situation and that there wasn’t even a group close behind us. It felt unnecessary and frustrating. On top of that, there were bugs everywhere all day, so definitely bring bug spray if you plan on playing here. It honestly sucks because the layout of the course is actually really nice and has a lot of potential, but the pace of play, the way the rangers handled things, made the overall experience disappointing. I probably wouldn’t come back for a while.

I had a very disappointing experience at Green Knoll Golf Course. The course itself was not in great condition, but what bothered me most was the treatment I received at the pro shop. The employee who handled my greens fee was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me in a way that felt noticeably different from how other customers were being treated. As a person of color, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. Thankfully, the golfers I was paired with were friendly and enjoyable to play with. Unfortunately, poor course conditions combined with an unprofessional and unwelcoming staff experience mean I won’t be returning.
