Cedar Creek Golf Course… look, I played here back when Central Regional became South Champs, and yeah, we put this place on the map with our amazing playing abilities. But lemme be real—the greens? Absolute garbage. Multiple holes are basically swimming pools, and the front nine and back nine feel like two completely different courses, like the guy who designed the back nine was hangin’ with a different mob. Still… we played there, we dominated, we made history. 3 stars. Great for showing off your skills, terrible for showing off your patience.

Started playing here in April. I gave it one-2 stars at that time. Great layout but bad condition. A new management team took over since then I have seen a dramatic improvement. Sand. Fairways tee areas are much better. And staff is really nice. They still have a way to go. But great progress!!

If I only had one bad experience here, I wouldn't be writing this review. Aside from being overpriced and mostly poor condition, it's run terribly. We were out when it was on and off raining, which the trade off was that we had an open course. At least until we finished hole 4. Several groups came out and jumped in front of us without any word from them or the starter, and we had to sit and wait on hole 5. We called the starter and were able to move to the back nine, and they made it seem like they had no control over the large group and that they had priority to go where they wanted. So we moved to hole 11 since there was someone on 10, and when we came back around after hole 18 it was open at 10 so we figured we'd finish that one before heading to the remaining holes. We got stopped there, and when the confusion of us going to 10 was over, "okay finish up 10 then you can leave". We told him we didn't finish 5-9 and he said it's pretty backed up so probably can't get on out there. How is that our problem? We were moved, which already should have been the new groups moving (maybe send them to the open back 9?) and then "oops the course is backed up, you're out of luck". We need to get new courses in this area so they can't keep raising the price for a worse experience. It's a shame because the layout of the course is actually pretty interesting and can be a good course if maintained and managed better.

The course has made a dramatic turnaround. They have cleaned up the course and greatly improved the overall conditions and playing experience. The staff is great — polite, professional, and very accommodating. Also, Chris Nelson ( Up to par golf) is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and a great teacher.

Played there yesterday and I have to admit that it is the first time since I started playing 8 years ago that this course looked in mint condition! Tee boxes were finally improved! I hope that they are finally trending on the right direction!
