Beacon Hill is a private Monmouth County club perched in Atlantic Highlands with a setting that can feel both wooded and wide-open depending on the hole. The property is known for its elevation changes and its sightlines—there are points where you can catch dramatic views out toward the New York City skyline and Sandy Hook Bay. The course has undergone significant modernization over the years, including major work led by architect Stephen Kay, which helped update strategy and infrastructure while keeping a traditional feel. It plays best for golfers who can shape tee shots and keep the ball in the correct sections of fairways. With wind sometimes in play off the water, holes can switch from “manageable” to “hang on” quickly. It’s a classic example of a coastal-hillside club where scenery and challenge show up together.

Played at Beacon Hill this past week. The course is impeccably kept from tee to green with no blade of grass out of place. The views of NYC are fabulous as was the food in the clubhouse. With all that said the downside is they forced 18 holes of golf on land enough for 14 holes. It is somewhat dangerous and never have I yelled or heard more 'fore' calls on a course. Still this is a unique course that is worth playing.

Fun and well-kept golf course. The view from the clubhouse is phenomenal - you can see the NYC skyline in the distance. The bartenders are waitstaff are always friendly and take the effort to learn all the members' names. The food and drinks are great, Beacon is one of our go-to places for dinner year-round

Lovely venue, fantastic night time view of the NYC sky line from the top balcony. Went for a Sweet 16 party..food was very good. Great attentive staff. A definite go to establishment for higher end functions.

The country club always does a good job with events. It has a very historic and nostalgic look to it. The views are amazing from the 3rd floor. The food has always been good. I'd say its a notch above your normal wedding style food.
