Tucked away in Walpole, Hooper is a 9-hole Donald Ross design that flies completely under the radar. It's old-school, quirky, and absolutely loaded with charm blind shots, dramatic elevation changes, and undulating greens included. No cart paths, no frills, just pure golf in a timeless setting. A hidden gem for golf history nerds.

Nearly my favorite course to play on from the layout to the people. Great environment here

Friendly club, great lay out and killer views. We stopped in on our way back home. Trees were turning colors, it was about 80F with a gentle breeze and blue skies. Perfect day and the golf course was in amazing condition. I’d thoroughly recommend, it was one of the best courses that I’ve played at.

Beautiful views, well groomed, challenging terrain, very hilly last 5 holes. I joined the club after playing 9 holes. There are only 9 holes. Not a problem doing 18. Different tees change the challenge. Carts are available. People are great. Nicely stocked pro shop. A tavern is on site. Haven't been in but menu is not just burgers and salads. Has seafood plates and desserts. Prices are realistic. Other golfers have recommended it to me. That's a plus, too. I'll get to it! Lol

Phenomenal course. 1-4 is as good an opening stretch as you can hope to find. 6 and 8 are strong holes as well. Greens are in great shape. Fairways are solid and tees are ok.
