Definitely not the same experience as going to some of the resorts up in the White Mountain National Forest (which we went to the next day) but we still had a great time here. The runs are plenty steep, we got a lot of laps in, and they had a nice bar to take a break in. It was my nephew's first time out for the year and it was the perfect warm up.

It is a great small hill that has something for everyone. We go after school with my kids and it is perfect for a quick night on the slopes.

Crotched mountain is a great facility. As a smaller mountain it is worth while for beginners and intermediate snow sporters. As one of the closer mountains to Massachusetts it is easy to. I dont understand the scheduling situation where there is NO NIGHT SKIING on SUNDAY or MONDAY whereas most winter holiday weekends are long weekends with mondays off.

We love true local mountains for their higher service and relaxed lack of pretense . Add in excellent interesting terrain for a mid sized mountain and you get a fun night ski Add fresh snow and very little lines and your creating fans for life . You can start night skiing at 3 to 9 weekdays. They have a wild midnight madness event to ski all day and night Monthly we believe. We tried the pub for great tap beers, service and ciders and alright pizza and chips and salsa. Good for ski food Excellent for tap beer :) We will be back for certain with the next storm

Went for midnight madness to try it out; day was warm and made a lot of the runs icy and dangerous. So much so my friend tried the bunny slope to warm up and fell he was unable to go on any other runs because of how the ice hurt him on his fall. I was tried the green slope on the west lift and it was very much packed and narrow. I am a beginner still so I needed some place to stop and rest when I wipe out; but a lot of the jumps and terrain are on the sides making it a dangerous place to stop after wiping out. I could see it being very dangerous as it is very narrow and a highly trafficked slope with little room for error. Additionally the intersections add confusion to where I’m supposed to go when. Overall I wish they re-groomed the run for later parts of the day with packed powder. Overall pretty hard for a beginner like me. Additionally I tried out their snowboard rentals but about 2 inches of my toe were hanging off the snowboard. I asked the shop to adjust the bindings or maybe give me a wider board but I was told that my boot was too small to go up a size on the board and the bindings could not be adjusted even if my heels stuck out a bit. Every other mountain I’ve been to adjusted my bindings so my heels would stick out but not crotched. Not very beginner friendly or maybe it’s just a skill issue on my part. But bad customer service on my toe sticking out of the board could have caused a bad accident by catching an edge.
