I have not stayed in the hotel portion of this property, but visited the restaurants. This place is amazing by all accounts and sits on a beautiful lakefront property with stunning views of lake tahoe. They have multiple restaurants that are all excellent. World renowned golf course and just an all around gem. Private beach also with access to those who dine in restaurants, stay in hotel or play a round of golf. 5 stars all the way!

Beautiful property ruined by shocking lack of service for prospective wedding couple My fiancé and I stayed at Edgewood Tahoe for one night last Thursday to evaluate it as a potential wedding venue. While the property and views are undeniably stunning, the service fell remarkably short of 5-star standards. Upon arrival around 7:30 PM, we dined at the Edgewood Restaurant. By the time we finished at 9:30 PM, the pool and hot tub were already closed. Returning to our room, we noticed turndown service was skipped—a minor detail, but surprising for a luxury resort. The real issue arose the following day. We had requested a late checkout to work before our scheduled 1:30 PM wedding venue tour with their events team. Late checkout couldn't be accommodated due to full occupancy, which we completely understood. We checked out at 11:00 AM, finished work calls in the lobby, and then attempted to grab lunch by the pool and relax in our swim suits before our tour. When our room key failed, we went to the front desk, only to be told we could not access the pool because we had already checked out. We explained that we hadn't been able to use the amenities the night before and had an official wedding tour in an hour. The front desk staff remained inflexible. We escalated the matter to the manager, Sal Guarrella, hoping for a reasonable 5-star resolution, but he flatly refused to accommodate us and let us use the pool for even one hour. It’s not like we were going to stay all day. Most luxury resorts encourage guests to enjoy the amenities on their arrival and departure days. To be turned away after spending under 24 hours on the property—while actively considering them for a major event—left a terrible impression. Unfortunate, but this experience completely took Edgewood off our list for our wedding.

Exceptional stay at Edgewood. Exceeded my expectations. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The entire resort is immaculate. This is the place to stay if you go to Tahoe. The restaurants were outstanding. Everything we ordered was great! Highly recommend the Wedge Salad at The Bistro. Loved the scallops as well. They had a s’mores station every evening which was so nice. The service was the best! Highly recommend Edgewood.

This place is incredible, an amazing place to bring friends and family. One of the most well kept resorts in Lake Tahoe if the best in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Senic views surround the course making for memorial experiences. Putting greens and fairways are immaculately kept, their tee boxes are so perfect for the love of golf. Words can't express the gratitude I feel when I am at the resort. You have to experience the getaway luxury vibes here. Edgewood is wonderful way to get away from everything work related.

We had a wonderful experience at Edgewood Tahoe Resort! This is a perfect spot for a family getaway. One of the best parts — the breakfasts are absolutely fantastic. Everything felt fresh, high-quality, and really enjoyable. We actually discovered this place thanks to recommendations on Google Maps, and it turned out to be a great find. Parking is complimentary, which is always a nice bonus. And after breakfast or lunch, you can take a relaxing walk down to the beach and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Tahoe — truly beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend for both the experience and the atmosphere!
