If I lived in Reno, I might play here all the time. Greens were great in early July of 2025.

Fun course outside Reno. Some parts were a little worn, but hey, it's a golf course. Wide open and you will only have issues if you aren't hitting it fairly straight. Not many trees. Some elevation changes, but nothing too crazy. The greens were not huge, so accurate approach play is really key to low scores here. Staff was awesome: I showed up here at 6am when they opened and they got me on to play an early round without having booked a tee-time. Great staff, friendly and helpful.

I scheduled a tee time for around 5:05pm and due to traffic I was unable to make that time so I called 10 to 15 mins before that and said I wouldn't be making it in time and asked if I could still go out and the guys at the pro shop still let me go out at about 5:30ish pm by myself. I had a great time and the course was in pretty good condition. Although pace of play was an issue once I got to hole 6, I just decided to play 2 or 3 balls per hole to pump the brakes on my own pace since I was a single behind a twosome and a foursome in front them. All around it was a great experience other than a few of the other players ahead of me on the course not understanding or practicing golf etiquette (ex. yelling and screaming while I was teeing off, not filling divots with sand and seed, and not fixing divots on the greens). Other than that it was a beautiful day, a bit breezy but still able to shoot a decent score with wide fairways and moderately challenging but fun greens. Will be returning!

Nice public course that has been upgraded in the last few years so that the fairways are are in good shape. The greens were hard due to the wind and early season. Good pro shop didn't go into the bar but it was obviously a good place. Very reasonable to play with interesting holes.

The best public practice facilities in Reno! Better than a few of the fully private courses in the area as well. The course is always in good shape and is reasonably priced. Friendly staff and GREAT drink prices!
