Edit, the owner reafhed out to me within 24hrs of me leaving my comment and has made things right with me. So now they get a 5 star review. Jack Nicklaus design be damned. They allowed us to make a 7am tee time, practice area doesn't open until 830. We were 1 min behind our tee time arriving at the first tee, the starter who openly tells you he dislikes golf, let a group of 3 go in front of us cause of a 1min difference. My buddy and I spent the day stuck behind the 3. Took 4.5hrs, he shot a 74, I shot a 79... we were playing efficient golf to say the least. Go disturbed by employees and equipment on 15 out of 18 holes. the cart we had was hard to steer, how is that even possible? You cannot drive your cart to your ball a lot of the time. Be prepared to do a lot of walking for so called "cart golf". The cart constantly interrupted our round while we were trying use the cart gps to judge proper distance, with the same warnings over and over. At every par 3 there's a warning, they have warnings pop up between almost every hole. For the most part you have to stay on the incredibly hot cart path with little to no shade. The course is pretty but operated like a muni the day I went. They didnt even have water coolers every 4/5 holes for water refills, its the middle of the desert guys. Yes we did get 4 bottles of water in the cooler with ice, pretty standard for desert golf in August. Maybe an off day? I played on a Wednesday, middle of week. Maybe that was a bad call... everyone was polite that spoke with us. Just a disappointing experience. Fairways are super soft and balls dont roll far, would say the greens are an 11. They roll far and fast with little effort.

Who would of thunk there would be such a nice course in the middle of nowhere.Jack Nicholas must have been slughtly pissed off when he designed Coyote Springs!! Super challenging for the average golfer, difficult greens and deep bunkers.... but still fun to play.

Although the club's location is a bit out of the way, it's truly a fantastic course. The course itself is challenging yet more friendly than I expected, and the overall maintenance is excellent; the fairways and surface conditions are impressive. The only minor drawback is the undulating greens, which were more dramatic than I anticipated, but this actually added to the enjoyment Most noteworthy is one of the staff members John. His enthusiasm and professionalism elevated the entire experience. From beginning to end, he was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Thanks to people like John, our golfing experience here was exceptionally enjoyable, and we definitely plan to return

Gorgeous course! Very fun and challenging. Kept in amazing shape. Worth the trip out to the middle of the desert for sure!

Fantastic course in the middle of nowhere. Overall really good conditions, with winter overseeding fairways and rough. Greens were super quick, a couple poor pinball placements (on a steep slope). A lot of unrepaired ball marks, many I fixed. The senior tees were mostly the red tees, they needed to be between the reds and whites. 5.5 hour round, no Ranger to help with that.
