The Oakland golf club is a private club located in Oakland NE. The do welcome guests to play the course. It hard to believe a small town such as Oakland has a full 18 hole golf course, especially one maintained as well as this. The club also offers a practice putting area, a driving range, a pro shop, full bar, club rental and cart rental. Inside the pro shop you will find everything from clubs to snacks. If you need it the pro shop will likely have it. The staff is good at taking care of the grounds, they are respectful of the golfer and for the most part handle maintenance in the wee hours of the morning. Pro shop staff is helpful and knowledgeable with plenty of expertise including golfing lessons for those needing them. The staff upstairs in the bar is always smiling and ready to serve. With a good selection of beer wine and drinks you can’t really go wrong stopping for a post game beverage. There is also a huge patio and deck! Excellent place to enjoy the weather, views, or even that cigar. On the lower patio is also a huge fire pit for those beautiful evenings. The Oakland gold club does hold many events throughout the year. One of the most notable is Ribfest! A delicious fundraiser where many competitors make racks of ribs and ultimately compete for bragging rights, cash and a trophy! Another reason to visit the Oakland area.

A hidden gem. Even though it's off the beaten path, Oakland's golf course is a challenging 18 holes with 5 different tee boxes that is meticulously maintained with a friendly staff.

Course is in good condition! Give it a try. There are lots of challenging holes. You don't have to worry about fairway bunkers.

Challenging and unique layout especially from The Tips if your a low handicap! This course winds through the Prairie with Big Greens tempting you. Below the Hole is usually the play. Home course of the most dominant run in high school golf in Nebraska golf history!

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens looked like they would be rough and hard to putt on but surprisingly the were fast and the roll was true. I will definitely play here again.
