Great course! Staff was very accommodating especially since we messed our tee time and booked the wrong day. They worked us in anyway. Course was in very good shape for late October and all employees were really friendly!! Definitely recommend this course!!

Go early because it gets busy. It was a fabulous morning. It would be nice of people would fix their divots.

Pioneers: where the fairways are welcoming, the greens are honest, and my scorecard goes into witness protection by hole 12. Food options could use some help.

busy Wednesday evening of golf at Pioneers, but the weather was perfect, course was in awesome shape considering the lack of rain the Lincoln area’s received, and it played fair.. Why only 3 ⭐️you might be thinking? 60% of the night was very much enjoyable and there’s no doubt I’ll play it again several more times this season, but taking each slice of the pie into account for an honest review, it basically went like this…Course, staff, clubhouse, range and practice green, the father/son twosome I was grouped with, cost of 9-hole round with a cart — all tremendous. That’s six pieces of the 10 piece pie. The other four — golf cart was almost slower than the pace of play (teed off hole 10 right at our tee time of 6:08 and finished around 8:45). That lengthy of a 9-holer just puts a damper on the entire round because every time you finish a hole the dread of having to wait at the next tee box takes over. Encouraging golfers to walk while at the same time only having 8 minutes between tee times is a recipe for disaster. Also, there’s even a sign at the number one tee box (that I actually appreciated and agreed with!) that was solely about pace of play. It read, "How far do you hit your drive?" then gave examples of those yardages (200, 225, 250, etc.) along with their recommended tee boxes and the expectation that players finish nine holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes. 8-minute tee time intervals 🥇a course with at least AS many players carrying clubs or using push carts as players riding = 2 1/2 hour 9-hole rounds, and admittedly, a long-winded but hopefully fair explanation of my review. That said, I’ll gladly eat crow if I’m way off about the ratio of walkers to riders, but it was slow from the first tee shot to the last putt.

Marshall is perfectly cool with 8 golf carts & 13 golfers playing together. Going to be running a 3.25 hour round on 9 holes.
