Lincoln's northeast muni is a classic Floyd Farley design with broad fairways, gentle doglegs and clever green sites that challenge distance control. It has hosted state championships and the Nebraska Open, yet remains playable for all thanks to generous landing areas. Subtle elevation changes and a few reachable par fives create scoring chances if you position well off the tee. A full practice range and short-game green make it easy to tune up before a round. Conditioning is typically solid throughout the season, delivering dependable value and a fair test.

I love all the city courses! The golf is cheap, a cart isn’t much, the greens are well-kept, and the staff is friendly

Beautiful golf course, gracious enough to allow a college XC meet on part of it. Beautiful greens well maintained. A very nice park behind the course for the public to use. Tennis courts, bathroom facilities. Playground. Nice walking paths and picnic area.

Mahoney is the premier 18 hole course the city of Lincoln has to offer. With crisp tee boxes, rolling fairways, thick rough, and lightning fast greens, Mahoney presents a challenging, yet encouraging round of golf to all ages.

Enjoyable experience. Good mix of holes. Greens were in good shape. Would play again.

If you want a rude and disrespectful experience as soon as you walk through the door, then this is the place for you! Overall uninviting and unprofessional; highly unrecommended 👎
