Very beautiful golf course. Visited from out of town and hit up a couple courses and this one blew me away. Beautiful scenery and very well kept course. Will definitely be back.

Passing through town in Lincoln Nebraska wanted to play golf. Looked around the internet and saw some good reviews for this location and decided to give it a try. Located in eagle Nebraska about 30 minutes east of Lincoln nice little drive to the course. The facility is very well put together. Nice large clubhouse encompassing the pro shop which is fully stocked, a snack bar, and a bar. Friendly staff all the way around the course from check-in to dropping off my card at the end of the round. I paired myself up with a couple of locals so they could show me around. Nice size driving range and putting green to warm up on before you go out. Course was in tip top shape fairways were really nice. Greens were maybe a little slow but you just had to adjust. They ran true and smooth all in really good shape. Bathroom facilities available on front and back nine. Really enjoyable course a couple of risk reward holes. Got to keep it straight on several holes to avoid going into the woods. There's a couple of places where you have to figure out if you're going to lay up or try to carry an obstacle. If you live in the area or you're passing through this is definitely the golf course to go play. Highly recommend

There are golf courses that greet you with polished marble, scented candles, and enough fake luxury to make you suspicious. Then there’s Woodlands Hills Golf Course, which strolls up with a weathered handshake and a clubhouse that has actual character. The place feels lived in, like it’s accumulated decades of birdies, bad decisions, and stories that improve with every retelling. Then you wander into the pro shop and your expectations get sucker-punched. It’s packed wall-to-wall with outstanding merchandise. Hats, shirts, pullovers, gadgets, enough quality gear to make your credit card quietly start hyperventilating before you’ve even reached the first tee. The golf course itself is mostly a good ride through the Nebraska countryside, with several holes that are genuinely memorable. The greens were outstanding, rolling smooth and true like they had been groomed by tiny obsessive monks armed with rollers and measuring tapes. Unfortunately, the rest of the course couldn’t quite keep pace. The tee boxes had seen better days, the fairways were a little ragged around the edges, and roughly half the bunkers looked like they’d been abandoned after a heavy rain weeks ago. The bones of a really enjoyable golf course are all here, and with a little more attention outside the greens, this place could become something truly special. Four stars because I had a genuinely good time, left with a few new pieces of golf apparel I absolutely didn’t need, and somehow escaped Nebraska without developing a deep emotional attachment to the pro shop.

The employees at the course were all great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The course itself was a bit of a mixed bag. It was nice and scenic, but the conditions were hit and miss. Several of the bunkers had standing water a couple inches deep. Those that didn’t have standing water were like concrete and didn’t look like they’d been worked in quite some time. Par 3 tee boxes were pretty torn up. The greens were quite nice and rolled well despite the wet conditions. The carts were also a bit hit and miss. My car struggled going up hills and going down hill it would slow itself down to nearly a stop. The car my wife and son were in though, was completely fine and worked as expected. The cart paths were VERY rough with broken concrete / asphalt. Overall for the money ($89 on a Sunday morning) and drive, it’s not something I’d likely go back for. Also not a fan of their “dynamic” pricing. Just post a rate like everyone else.

Beautiful course and clubhouse. Love the birthday club idea. I docked a star because I was disappointed in the condition of parts of the course. Greens rolled good and true but there were WAY TOO MANY ball marks/divots. Also, the bunkers were not cared for very well. Took many of them had mud, rocks, or under the bunker showing. I got a 1 month old (new T150 Titleist 9 iron) from a fairway bunker and it has little rock dings all over it. Shame on me for being in the bunker I guess.
