Alma's municipal layout sits just a few minutes from Harlan County Lake and trades length for character. Open bluegrass fairways feed into small, smooth bent-grass greens, so short-game touch pays off. The signature is No. 5's giant kidney-shaped green about 50 yards long which turns a simple approach into a puzzle. It's a tidy, walkable nine that locals play year-round when the weather cooperates. Friendly staff and a low-key clubhouse make it an easy add to a lake weekend.
