Had a great day of golf.Beautiful track. Free range balls, loved that. The staff was Amazing! Great fairways, large greens, and even better views! After reading some of the reviews I would say that the comments about the staff are false. Some people need to feel special. The staff was Fanastic!

We booked a two day/2 night stay and play package for Golf. The location and views are amazing. The course is a little difficult with more sand bunkers than I’ve ever seen on one course and in the middle of the bunkers are low growing sticky green bushes that eat your balls and you’ll never be able to find them. Somehow, on our second day, they had triple booked our tee time. The rooms were very nice and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. It appeared clean, but I had spilled some water on the floor. Went to wipe it up with a towel and the floor was absolutely filthy dirty. On Saturday afternoon we tried to have dinner at 5:30 at night and we’re told that we would have to order off the lunch menu as dinner did not start until 6 PM. We hadn’t eaten since breakfast as we had played golf and we’re starving so couldn’t wait. That was very disappointing. You couldn’t get dinner at 5:30 at night when this was the only place around for miles to eat at. As far as beverage service on the course, there is a beverage shack at the turn, which is generously stocked. There’s also a beverage cart, but they charge an additional 20% fee on top of your order just to order off a beverage cart. Additionally, when we got our final bill, there was a $50 per day resort fee that we were unaware of and quite frankly have no idea what part of the resort we used to be charged that kind of money we paid for our golfing.

We just got back from a trip. Played multiple rounds. I was actually shocked at the condition of the course. It was incredible!! Not quite sure how they got the course in such good condition but they did!! The course was legitimately one of the best that I’ve ever played, and I’m fortunate to have played numerous top 100 courses. The setting and view are incredible. The course is very interesting and has a challenging but fair layout. We found the staff to be polite and professional, and eager to help out. I know the course has new ownership and it sounds like that has really helped any previous issues. You always get a mixed bag of reviews, but as for myself, I would highly recommend a trip to the Wilderness Club!

Enjoyed my round of golf at Wilderness, shoutout to Tyson who joined our group of 15 and showed us the course. My only issue with this course is that for the price we paid, the service level wasn’t there. Nobody met us in the parking lot to grab our clubs, there was no offer to clean clubs or unload the cart at the end of the round, and other than the fellas in the pro shop nobody really went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. The on course beverage cart and halfway house was laughable, certainly not what we had expected given the prestige of the place. Additionally, the sand in the bunkers were horrible and they need to get a dump truck or two of some good stuff asap. Hitting out of a rocky bunker shouldn’t happen at $275 a pop. I would come back and play but for the price comparison I would just venture down the road and hit up another course.

Golf course is very nice and laid out very uniquely. The only reason that I do not give it a 5 star rating is because they have a SERIOUS PROBLEM with goose dropping everywhere on the course especially on a couple of the holes which are almost unplayable because of this problem. I would encourage the management to DO SOMETHING about this if they really want this golf course to be rated a premier golf course in Montana. They have many lots for sale in the club but I would NEVER buy one until the club told me how they were going to get rid of all the goose droppings. There is so much that I actually think it could become a health hazard. Sorry I had to write this because I love the lay out of your course but it is the truth and the club needs to take care of this issue
