Hidden gem. Those golf architecture nerds like transitions. This place has transitions. Hole 5 is an uphill par 4 with a green sloping back to front. Conventional wisdom says to leave your ball below the hole. My advice is go long, the views of stunning mountain vistas as you look back down the fairway are worth the 3 putt!

What a wonderful fun time we had playing a round of golf here! This is a really fun course, and very affordable with $25 green fees. It’s not really serious golf. The locals joke that it’s easy to get a hole in one because your ball inevitably will send up in a gofer hole! This historic 9-hole course, dates back to 1928, which makes it the oldest golf course I have ever golfed on! It is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Every hole offers stunning views, and the greens are in fair condition however the maintainance of the fairways is in pretty poor condition - lots of tuffs of grass, and very easy to lose your ball. We had a hoot! Loved crossing the cattle guards to get to the other side of the course. Had a blast and it’s well worth it if you love golf and we played for fun and got a kick out of trying to find our balls! A memorable golfing experience and well worth a visit if you’re staying at Glacier Park Lodge or exploring Glacier National Park.

Do not confuse east glacier and west glacier golf course reviews. I haven’t golfed the west but the east is terrible. Driving on the fairways are so rough and bumpy that you could lose your teeth (lol) or finish 9 holes with a sore neck and headache. The tee boxes are terrible but the greens are decent. The carts are filthy, they don’t get cleaned. Better used as a cow pasture.
