For a public course couldn’t ask for better. Friendly staff. Great practice areas with dedicated range, chipping, and putting. Marshall’s were friendly. Course is great condition. I currently play to a 6 handicap and shot 78 in the rain. Course is short from the back at just 5600 yards so it’s very beatable. I paid sub $35 for cart and green fee on a Monday. Pace of play in the morning playing through a couple groups was just over 2 hours.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Not only are they liars, the course is pitiful, and the price is not near worth it. After being on hold for more than 20 minutes, I am told there is only one single tee time available for Dec 24th for a single. I was wanting to play with friends and family, but said there is only room for a single golfer, so I decided to take the gamble on this disaster. When I arrived I was one of 6 cars, in the entire lot. I then go to check in for my tee time and they said that my other 3 players for my group will tee off at the scheduled time with me. When I go to the tee box for my time the group is no where to be found. The starter sent the group of 3 off so they did not have to play with a single. I explained my frustration to the starter and he simply laughed at turned away and said “tee off” I go into the clubhouse so I can get a refund since I am not going to play such a lousy awful course alone, they refuse to give me a refund. After lying, after mismanagement, after pure disrespect. Now I am stuck with a useless $45 rain check that I will more likely use for toilet paper rather than return to this dump of a golf course. This place explains why Jackson county and it’s citizens lost the chiefs.

Course is always in great shape! The staff is amazing as well!

The course is always in great condition and though Instagram had stated that the new driving range was open, when we showed up an hour before tee time it was undergoing more maintenance so chipped and putted for an hour instead. Obviously that didn't upset me much as I left my second 5 star review for Minor Park. ** I played Minor Park on Monday, May 6 and even though it's very early in the golf season, the course was in great condition especially the greens. I only hope the greens can stay relatively divot free as they were Monday. It takes less than 10 seconds to fix a ball mark so please do it out of courtesy for others **

Freindly staff. Fair track with challenging greens for putting. Very walkable, parkland, south city course. Great value.
