West Point Country Club is one of the state's older clubs, offering a nine hole loop along Lakeshore Drive. The course rewards placement and a tidy short game more than brute force, making it approachable for a wide range of handicaps. Back tee yardage is about 3,011 yards at par 35. USGA figures typically cite 70.0/113 for rating/slope, which mirrors the scorecard's modest length. A casual, friendly atmosphere and simple amenities define the experience.

Awesome little course. Son and I went last Sunday and the folks there were super friendly, and informative. They completed a tourament on Saturday and even though they hadn't gotten to the course to groom it for the day, everything was good. Challenging enough to actually be fun. Even saw some deer traversing the course headed to the woods. Really nice.

My 6 year old loves to swim all summer long at the pool and I enjoy meeting up with friends and family at the bar. Can't wait to start golfing soon on the beautiful course!
