Simpson County CC is a nine hole local club with a traditional southern flavor. It's tree lined and compact, with a couple of doglegs to keep golfers thinking. Greens are modest and approachable, favoring good touch. It's an affordable option without extensive facilities. Nine holes play to about 3,150 yards, par 36.

I played golf here as a guest of one of its members. I was very pleased with the condition of the fairways and greens! The whole course looked great! My only recommendation for the club at this point is to re-establish the tee box markers making it clear which tee box to use. Without my host I would not have been able to figure it out!

The drinking and driving back and forth on the road all the time especially on weekends due to this place sucks. Also, the Sheriff's Dept. deliberately avoids patrolling Golf Course Road as to not damage any political connections.
