Great course that has been improving more and more everytime I go back! Staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. One of favorite spots in Laurel.

Overall it’s a decent course. The cart paths are terrible, and the greens aren’t great. It’s a great course to go have fun and not get bothered. For the money I would chose another course. Just too pricey for what it is.

Felt warmly welcomed by Brian at the proshop who was very friendly and helpful (even though my teetime was booked through Golfnow or whatever service). Greens were not in top condition this time but overall fun course, pace of play 5 out of 5.

The Dixie Golf Association offers a public golf course that seems quite popular in the area. I don't have time to play golf but I do have time to eat and fortunately this place has Edgar's Steakhouse which is one of the handful of restaurants in the Laurel, MS area that offers a more fine dining experience. The Laurel Country Club is about the only other spot I know of that does anything similar in the area. Edgar's is well known for their steak and they also offer a nice Sunday Brunch/Lunch experience. So far Edgar's has had the absolute best service I've had at any of the area restaurants in the area. My last couple of visits the experience has been less stellar than the first few visits I made so perhaps something has changed and it does seem some of the staff have turned over. They do have an event venue here as well that is sometimes used and they do have a bar as well that is a bit hidden away if you don't know where to look so make sure to ask if you can't find it. Overall this is your best bet in Laurel, MS for a steak and this is about as close to fine dining as you will find in this area.

Fairway is completely bare/ no grass, greens are in very poor condition. Very easy course.
