Description

Hattiesburg CC traces its origins to 1919 and moved to its present site in 1959; the current championship course was updated extensively by Frank ‚'Max' Maxwell Jr. and Nathan Crace in 1999. For decades the club hosted the Magnolia Classic, a PGA TOUR opposite field event, and it remains a frequent championship venue in Mississippi. The routing mixes reachable risk reward holes with demanding long par fours, framed by towering pines. Modern Bermuda turf and a full practice range support consistently firm conditions.

Very impressed with the atmosphere, food and golf facilities. The recent addition of the golf training center is an added bonus.

We enjoyed the new menu at Hattiesburg Country Club. The food was fantastic 😋 The decorations put us on the holidays spirit 🎄🎊

A classic layout with rolling fairways protected by strategically placed bunkers and lined with majestic towering pines. The greens are phenomenal year round. A challenge for the most skilled of players yet friendly for recreational golfers as well! Also the club that hosted the PGA Tour's Magnolia Classic from 1968 until1993, with the legendary Payne Stewart capturing the trophy in 1982.

Beautiful, fun, well-maintained golf course, along with friendly and hospitable staff and members. If you have the opportunity to play here, do not pass it up.
