Its 3,008 yard back tee yardage belies some narrow tee shots and raised greens that shed indifferent approaches. The course plays quickly yet demands solid iron play to score, with a couple of reachable par 4s offering risk reward options. Conditioning centers on tidy fairways and receptive greens typical of North Mississippi parkland layouts. Members enjoy a driving range and a straightforward, friendly golf-only atmosphere.

This private club does not reciprocate with other private clubs. I have played East Lake Golf and Piedmont Golf Courses, which are two of the most exclusive clubs in the Atlanta, Ga region. However, I was told that this small town 9-hole club in Aberdeen, Ms does not allow other private club members to play. I was shocked to say the least. Fortunately, Riverbirch Golf Course, which is in very close proximity does and it is a much better full 18-holes course.
