Description
Deer Run is a public 18-hole layout set amid rolling terrain on the west side of the Twin Cities. Opened in 1989 and designed by Bill Maple, it blends parkland corridors with gentle elevation changes. From the back tees it plays 6,254 yards to a par of 71, offering a mix of reachable par 5s and demanding par 4s. The course emphasizes accuracy over brute length, with strategic bunkering and water in play on select holes. A full practice area, including a driving range, supports warm-ups and lessons, and the charming farmhouse clubhouse and Irish-pub vibe add to the experience.
