Since 1929 this north-woods nine has offered friendly, affordable golf just off I-35 between the Twin Cities and Duluth. The routing plays along Sand Lake with a classic, compact feel and straightforward greens complexes. It's a favorite local walk for leagues and casual players, with a small-town clubhouse that anchors the experience. Conditions are simple and enjoyable, with quick rounds the norm.

Moose Lake Golf Course has a laid back lake life environment but the golfing is fierce. It's members are filled with a sense of community and passion for the game. The bartenders are friendly and welcoming. Wednesdays are $3 tacos and Saturdays are $14 1/2# burger baskets. Both are open to the public as well. You can drive on up or take the boat in as they have docks available too.

Hidden gem! Fun nine hole course. MLGC has a full bar and pizzas or appetizers on the menu. Outdoor seating offers views of Sand Lake or the course. Josh and staff are great. Favorite place to be in the summer!

Nine hole course that is maintained excellently. Fun holes with a couple of 200 yard par threes that gives you a chance to use a different club selection

This course is in really great shape and has some of the most challenging greens that I have ever played on. The only downside that I have is that I live to far away to be able to play it more often but I will definitely be back.
