Description

Loggers Trail is a modern public course on the bluffs east of the Twin Cities with a reputation for generous landing areas balanced by demanding approaches. The routing moves over rolling terrain with strategic bunkering and varied green complexes, so the challenge grows as you get closer to the hole. Multiple tee sets make it playable for a wide range of golfers. The course hosts leagues and events and maintains an active practice program. It was created by a Minnesota-led team and stretches to more than 7,200 yards from the back tees.

$91 ?!!!?? Old beat up carts Double wide as a clubhouse No amenities No senior rates Slow play It is a Fun course Lots of options at nicer courses for that price or less. It is a shame that they are pricing themselves out of the market.

I love this course and it's one of my favorite courses but when it's slow they still charge full price even though they don't offer all amenities. Not really fair. Great course otherwise.

Top notch course at a good price. Payed $70 to ride 18 peak of season. Very scenic putting, chipping, and driving range with layers and layers of landscaping. The course is quite difficult with extreme long native grass, a little elevation, and slope that slaps you in the face on every hole. Very little water comes into play and bunkers are large and well placed, but I cant elaborate enough on the slope. The front 9 is a little tighter tee shots and more wooded holes. The back 9 is a true links style with more dog legs and native grass everywhere. Will definalty be back in the future.

The course is really fun and has a woodsy feel on the front nine with a links style on the back. The course is in good condition for the price I paid. The carts are fairly basic with no GPS tracking, therefore bring a range finder or rely on standard fairway yardage marks.

I think four stars is good. We walked, and it might be the best walking course in MN. The conditions were AWESOME. But it plays very slow - and when I told the starter that that’s what I read, he boldly denied it. Literally said “Anyone saying that is a liar. We have rangers to insure pace, and we’re proud of it!” But they send groups out 9 min apart. We waited on every hole, and it was 4:50 for the round. Which is fine. Just don’t brag about not having a problem that you clearly have. (Oh, photo is my buddy who EAGLED 17.)
