This is a nice local course. It is now split into two 9 hole golf courses but you can still call to play a full 18. Everyone is very nice. It’s a good course for beginner golfers.

Me and friend both played the back 9 here yesterday, for the first time. Friendly staff, nice greens, and beautiful landscape overall! I am new to golf and enjoyed the low pressure environment to help learn the game. My friend is more seasoned and said it still provided a stimulating challenge! I will be back in the next week or two!

Applewood is a great golf course with excellent staff! I especially want to recognize Frankie in the Pro Shop. He is knowledgeable and helpful! I'd highly recommend a golf outing at Applewood!

Great little course for beginners. Friendly staff and the drink cart comes around early and often. Ranger was very kind and did his best to keep folks moving along - but the nature of course and type of players made pace of play a big issue. We waited on every tee box and the last 2 holes took nearly a hour to play. Not sure what can be done, but it made the day a bit less fun.

I understand this is a beginner-friendly course and some slower play is expected, but the delays felt excessive. We spent nearly as much time waiting as we did playing, especially on the final holes. Great staff and a nice course overall, but the pace of play significantly impacted the experience.
