Island Lake Golf Course in Shoreview is a walkable par-3/short-par-4 layout tucked into a neighborhood setting. Opened in the mid-1990s, it was designed by David Pieper to be friendly for newer golfers while offering enough bite with bunkering and mounding to interest better players. Holes are tightly routed, so accuracy off the tee and smart club selection are key to scoring. It's a convenient place to introduce kids or non-golfers to the game, and an efficient way for regulars to keep their wedge game sharp. The course is known for affordable rates and quick rounds that fit easily into a busy day.

We went here for Loon’s Nest Mini Golf. This is a very nice miniature golf course that’s built to last with little or no maintenance. The holes are long, fun to play, challenging, and all par 3’s. This is a skills course without all the gimmicks and stupid brick walls. This course has the best cement side walls in the game for your putting needs. I really want to give this course 5 Stars, but I can’t. The missing star comes from… feeling like you’re playing mini golf in a very hot rock quarry, there’s no shade, no water features, and no discount on a second round. It’s an industry standard to give players that play it again a half price discount, they don’t do that here. It’s fun, I’d play it again, but only for the one round. Enjoy…

A nice par three course with a driving range. A forgiving course. Lots of programs for kids just learning how to play. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Some of the patrons are disrespectful and fail to fix their divets. There are golf carts available. You can book tee times online or by phone. Walk ins are welcome.

Really great driving range, haven't tried mini golf yet but it looks nice, the nine hole par 3 course is just right for a quick game. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean. Some players do not fix their divots but overall great course for a quick fun round in pretty MN landscapes. Have been back many times.
